Two Italian Teams Inquire About Samuel Iling-Junior, Connected with Aston Villa
Iling-Junior played a crucial role by scoring a significant goal in Juventus’ recent 2-1 victory
against Salernitana, narrowing the gap to just two points behind league leaders Inter Milan.
Despite this, he has mostly been a peripheral figure at Juventus, prompting the club to consider his departure.
While there are reports suggesting Juventus might opt to retain him, the Premier League has
emerged as a potential destination, with Aston Villa and Brighton expressing interest.
However, new information from Italian broadcaster SportItalia (via Calciomercato.com) indicates that two Italian clubs, Monza and Sassuolo, have inquired about acquiring Iling-Junior during the current transfer window.
The nature of these inquiries remains unclear, as it is uncertain whether Monza
and Sassuolo are pursuing a permanent deal. Financial constraints might pose
a challenge for these clubs, as they may not have the resources to meet
Juventus’ €20 million asking price. Juventus is inclined to explore options in the Premier League to generate funds through Iling-Junior’s potential sale.
