“Celtic Winger Marco Tilio Contemplates Exit Amid Limited Playing Time, Loan Offers on the Table”
Celtic player Marco Tilio, who joined the club from Melbourne City for £1.5 million
in the summer, is hinting at a potential departure after a challenging six
months without making a significant impact in Glasgow.
Despite winning three A-League titles in Melbourne, Tilio has struggled at Celtic, only playing 28 minutes in substitute appearances against Motherwell and Hibs.
Although Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers confirmed Tilio is not currently in his plans,
Australia’s national team coach, Graham Arnold, included him in the Asian Cup squad.
Tilio acknowledges the difficulties since leaving the A-League, revealing that he has been fully fit for four months.
Offers for a loan move are reportedly on the table for the 22-year-old winger.
Tilio expressed his readiness to play and hopes the upcoming tournament provides an opportunity for him to showcase his abilities.
