Milton Keynes Dons have secured their third signing in January
by acquiring young Polish goalkeeper Filip Marschall on loan from Aston Villa.
The 20-year-old’s addition comes after the recent departure of goalkeeper
Craig MacGillivray to Stevenage on loan.
All three of the new signings made by the Dons’ manager, Mike
Williamson, so far have previously played under him at his former club, Gateshead.
Marschall, who spent the latter half of the previous season with Gateshead,
contributed to their successful bid to avoid relegation.
In addition to Marschall, the Dons have also brought in Kyran Lofthouse,
a wing-back from Barnsley, who had spent the initial part of the current
season at Gateshead, and Stephen Hearne, a midfielder from Head.
Marschall made his debut for Aston Villa in Croatia in December during
a 1-1 draw against Zrinjski Mostar in the European Conference League.
