Recent reports from Spain now raise questions about Arrizabalaga’s continuation at the Santiago Bernabeu beyond his loan agreement. According to Sport, there is ambiguity regarding whether the goalkeeper will stay at Real Madrid permanently. While Arrizabalaga expresses interest in making the move permanent, Chelsea is said to demand a fee of €30 million (£25 million) for his permanent departure.
Despite the goalkeeper’s preference to stay, Real Madrid remains unconvinced about committing to a permanent deal for Arrizabalaga, as per the reports. However, the La Liga club is reportedly in search of a new goalkeeper to compete with Courtois upon his return from injury.
