Everton may accept Jarrad Branthwaite’s low-ball offer as a source reports “massive” information.

According to sources cited by Football Insider, Everton might face pressure to agree to a reduced transfer fee for their standout defender, Jarrad Branthwaite, during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Reports suggest that Manchester United are currently leading the race to secure the services of

the 21-year-old ahead of other suitors, including Real Madrid.

The possibility of Everton’s relegation from the Premier League this season could generate significant interest from potential buyers seeking a bargain deal for Branthwaite, who is an England Under-21 international.

The Toffees’ deduction of 10 points this season has placed them in the relegation zone with 15 games remaining in the campaign.

Additionally, the pending takeover of Everton by US-based group 777 Partners, subject to Premier League approval, could further complicate matters.

If the takeover falls through, clubs may look to exploit Everton’s financial difficulties by making low offers for Branthwaite.

Despite Everton’s struggles, Branthwaite has been a standout performer, making 26 appearances across all competitions in the current season.

His impressive displays have come after a successful loan spell at PSV Eindhoven in the previous campaign.

Branthwaite committed his future to Everton by signing a contract extension in October 2023, which is scheduled to keep him at Goodison Park until June 2027.

Everton finds themselves just one point above the relegation zone in the Premier League, having failed to secure a victory in their last six top-flight fixtures.
