“Very different,” according to the first picture of the home changing area at the new Everton stadium.
According to the initial glimpse of the home changing area at the new Everton stadium, it appears to be “very different” from what fans and players are accustomed to.
Former Everton captain Phil Jagielka expressed his belief that the Everton Stadium will be a remarkable venue for both players and supporters.
He recently had the opportunity to view the developing home dressing room at the club’s new waterfront location. Jagielka, who played for Everton from 2007 to 2019, sees the upgraded facilities as a
significant step forward for the club.
He remarked, “It’s amazing… Totally different, but very special.” Jagielka highlighted the distinctive features of the new dressing room compared to the one at Goodison Park, emphasizing the
positive impact of improved facilities on team morale and performance.
The new dressing room, located in the heart of the west stand, is designed to promote team
unity and inclusivity, with a large central island and advanced technology to assist the management team.
Additionally, there is increased space for functions such as physiotherapy and medical services, along with a hydrotherapy pool to aid in player recovery.
Upon stepping onto the field of Everton’s future home, Jagielka, who made 385 appearances
for the club, expressed awe at the size and grandeur of the 52,888-seater stadium.
He described it as having the “wow factor” and expressed excitement about
the prospect of creating cherished memories in the new venue.
Overall, Jagielka believes that the Everton Stadium will be an extraordinary place to call home,
offering players and fans an exceptional experience.
