Competition is expected for Everton’s summer Elland Road agreement as Leeds United’s position is made public.
Jack Harrison, currently on loan at Everton from Leeds United, could be up for sale amid interest from various clubs, both in the Premier League and across Europe.
While Harrison has made a positive impression at Goodison Park, Leeds is reportedly open
to a potential sale, particularly if they receive a substantial offer.
Reports suggest that Leeds would consider selling Harrison permanently regardless of
their division status next season.
Everton had expressed interest in signing him permanently,
but financial constraints have temporarily halted any potential deal.
However, if Daniel Farke’s side secures promotion to the Premier League, a return to Leeds
could be a possibility for Harrison.
Journalist Phil Hay believes that Harrison is likely to move on in the summer, with other mid-table Premier League clubs also showing interest in acquiring him.
Despite his valuable Premier League experience over the past four seasons, there’s no guarantee that
Harrison would secure a key starting role at Leeds upon his return, especially with the emergence of other talented wingers in the squad.
Considering the competition for places and the potential for unrest among squad members,
Harrison may benefit from seeking opportunities elsewhere if regular first-team action isn’t assured at Leeds.
Like other players from the Marcelo Bielsa era, such as Luke Ayling and Liam Cooper,
Harrison appears poised for a departure.
It’s worth noting that Everton could face competition for Harrison’s signature, highlighting his value to potential suitors in the Premier League and beyond.
Leeds would be letting go of a player capable of strengthening numerous teams in the league, should other clubs make a move for him.
