Rangers: Following Ibrox’s criticism, the SPFL meeting will now take place in March.

The SPFL has scheduled a meeting with all 42 member clubs for March following criticism from Rangers and five other clubs, as reported by BBC Sport.

The league aims to address the serious concerns raised by these clubs regarding

the handling of the recent Independent Governance report.

Originally called for on February 27th, the meeting will now take place on March 19th,

with consultant Henderson Loggie, responsible for the report, presenting its findings and clarifying recommendations to all clubs.

Rangers and the other clubs involved have expressed deep concern about

the handling of the independent review, and there’s hope that a resolution can be reached in March.

The SPFL disputed some of the claims made by these clubs, which may lead to discussions on how to proceed. Regardless, the focus should be on what’s best for Scottish football,

rather than protecting positions within the SPFL.

Given the differing opinions, it’s unlikely that all parties will reach a complete agreement.

Nonetheless, the outcome of the meeting will be awaited with interest.
