Dele Alli and Son Heung-min, a star for Tottenham, exchange photos as Everton comes to a consensus.
Everton midfielder Dele Alli recently shared an image of himself alongside Tottenham star Son Heung-min and Gareth Bale at London Fashion Week, following the Toffees’ recent agreement with the 27-year-old.
Alli has been sidelined from playing under manager Sean Dyche at Everton due to
recurring injury problems, with reports suggesting that the club has granted him time
off to focus on his recovery.
During this break, Alli reunited with former teammates from Tottenham, as evidenced
by photos posted on his Instagram account with Son, Bale, and Chelsea’s Ben Chilwell.
The post drew attention from fellow footballer Jack Grealish, who humorously commented,
“Tell chilly to keep his jacket on next time.”
The question arises as to whether Alli will return to play for Everton in the future.
However, it remains uncertain, as his current injury situation shows no signs of improvement before the resumption of the Premier League season.
Dyche has emphasized that Alli is still far from returning to the first-team fold,
a situation unlikely to change while he is engaged in activities such as attending London Fashion Week rather than training.
While fans may be eager to see Alli back on the field, his absence may have financial benefits for Everton, as it prevents them from triggering an extra clause in the deal with Spurs.
Given Everton’s financial challenges, this aspect could be more crucial than rushing Alli’s return.
