Erling Haaland’s claim prompts Everton star to declare he is “scared” of a Liverpool player.

Everton defender Vitaliy Mykolenko has acknowledged Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah as the most formidable winger he has faced. Salah, who recently returned from injury and scored against Brentford, was rested for Liverpool’s match against Luton.

Liverpool emerged victorious, setting their sights on the Carabao Cup final against Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Everton sits just outside the Premier League relegation zone.

The upcoming Merseyside derby on March 17 could hold significant stakes if Liverpool advances in the FA Cup. Salah’s impactful performance against Everton in October left a

lasting impression on Mykolenko, who considers him a daunting opponent due to his speed and direct approach.

Mykolenko also mentioned Bukayo Saka and Bernardo Silva but emphasized Salah’s threat, stating, “He is going with the ball really fast and he’s going straight at you.

It is scary for me and other defenders.”

Despite Salah’s prowess, Mykolenko named Erling Haaland as the best player in the Premier League currently,

highlighting his exceptional finishing ability.

Salah’s impressive goal tally this season, despite his injury lay-off, underscores his significance to Liverpool. However, his availability for the upcoming match against Chelsea

remains uncertain as he manages his recovery from injury.

Salah’s consistent performances affirm his status as a top-tier player, posing a

significant threat to opposing teams like Everton. Mykolenko acknowledges Salah’s prowess and will be wary of

facing him in the upcoming derby at Goodison Park.
