Everton “sent word” to the club about Toffees Star.
Everton has firmly communicated to Barcelona that they will not reduce their asking price for midfielder Amadou Onana, who is also targeted by Arsenal, Manchester United, and Newcastle United.
Onana is anticipated to depart Everton in the summer, attracting interest from several prominent clubs.
Although Barcelona has shown interest in Onana, their financial constraints limit their ability to engage in a bidding war for the Belgian midfielder. They are only willing to offer €40 million for his services.
Reports suggest that Everton has made it clear to Barcelona, through intermediaries,
that Onana’s price tag will remain at €60 million, and they have no intention of adjusting this figure.
Confident in the interest from top Premier League clubs, Everton believes they will secure
the desired fee for Onana.
Barcelona’s strategy appears to hinge on Onana’s preference to join them, potentially
banking on his desire to make the move to secure his signature.
