Tottenham Hotspur has emerged as a strong contender for Everton‘s Jarrad Branthwaite, with recent reports suggesting a potential transfer in the upcoming summer window.

The Daily Mail previously linked Spurs and Arsenal to the 21-year-old defender, indicating

Tottenham’s keen interest in securing his services.

The Mirror has now reported Everton’s readiness to part ways with Branthwaite, with

the club already scouting Hull City’s Jacob Greaves as a potential replacement.

Considered a rising star in the Premier League, Branthwaite’s talent has drawn praise,

with some even dubbing him as the league’s next defensive sensation.

Despite his young age, Branthwaite has made a significant impact at Everton, amassing

43 appearances for the club and earning six caps for England Under-21s.

Jamie Carragher recently commended Branthwaite’s abilities on Monday Night

Football, emphasizing his versatility and skill in controlling the game from the back.

However, Branthwaite’s potential transfer won’t come cheap, given his contract with Everton running until 2027. Reports suggest a hefty transfer fee of £75 million,

which could pose a significant financial consideration for Tottenham as they assess their priorities for squad strengthening in the upcoming summer transfer window.
