Everton’s Dele Alli provides an update on his injuries following his return to Finch Farm training.

Everton midfielder Dele Alli has provided an update on his recent injury after returning to training at Finch Farm post-surgery for a new groin issue.

The 27-year-old hasn’t featured for Everton since Sean Dyche’s arrival at Goodison Park,

having returned early from a loan spell at Besiktas due to injury.

Taking to Instagram, Dele shared a video of himself exercising with weights

on his legs, indicating progress in his recovery. Despite Dyche suggesting a possible return before the season’s end

and the expiration of his contract, Dele’s return to action remains uncertain.

This season has been frustrating for Dele, repeatedly facing setbacks just as he nears full fitness.

While this has delayed his comeback and kept him out of action, it’s potentially advantageous

for Everton financially, as it has prevented a clause in his transfer from Tottenham from being triggered.

Dele’s Instagram post suggests he’s making strides toward a return, though Dyche has

noted that he’s still some time away from a first-team comeback.

Whether Dele will don the Everton shirt again remains to be seen,

but it’s evident that he’s in a better place personally than he was after his stint with Besiktas.
