Against Man United, Sean Dyche should bench the £20 million Everton player; the experiment has failed.
Sean Dyche has emphasized that Everton‘s players whose contracts are expiring haven’t been kept unaware of their future prospects.
Six members of the squad, including captain Seamus Coleman, Idrissa Gana Gueye,
Ashley Young, Andre Gomes, Dele, and Andy Lonergan, have deals ending this season.
Additionally, Jack Harrison and Arnaut Danjuma’s loan spells are concluding.
Despite being 38, Ashley Young has expressed his intention to continue playing beyond this season.
Former manager Frank Lampard noted Coleman’s commitment to Everton as long as he feels he’s contributing.
With 11 Premier League games left and the priority being to avoid relegation,
decisions for the next season need to be made.
Dyche underlines that director of football Kevin Thelwell is in contact with players’ agents.
Dyche stated last week, “It’s ongoing. Me and Kev are in open dialogue.
Not such me, Kev is with the agents.
The players know where it is.
It’s an ongoing situation. With all of them, whether it’s young players who were
are looking at to protect the future of the club or the older players to protect the now.
Every situation, the people here are on board with it.
Everyone should know because Kev has got that – definitely, I know for a fact – the open lines of communication.”
