Unsurprised by the praise from the fans, Jordan Pickford praises the Celtic player as the Everton number one.

Jordan Pickford has expressed admiration for Joe Hart as the Celtic goalkeeper approaches the twilight of his career. Hart, who will turn 37 next month, recently announced his decision

to retire at the end of the season, culminating a remarkable 20-year journey.

The two-time Premier League champion will bid farewell to professional football

this summer after three impactful seasons at Parkhead, during

which he contributed significantly to Celtic’s success, including a Treble-winning

campaign last season, following his move from Tottenham in 2021.

Despite facing criticism at times, Hart’s departure will create a significant void in

Celtic’s goalkeeping position, and his leadership qualities will also be sorely missed within the dressing room.

With 75 international caps for England, Hart has been a stalwart figure, and his former

Three Lions teammate Pickford hopes that Hart concludes his career with additional triumphs.

Reflecting on Hart’s influence, Pickford stated on talkSPORT,

“He was someone I looked up to massively.

His journey, from Shrewsbury to Birmingham to Man City, earning

England’s number one spot, winning 75 caps, and representing Manchester City

for over a decade, speaks volumes about his career achievements.

He has had a stellar career. Hopefully, he will leave on a high note.

I can understand why Celtic fans hold him in high regard.”
