After their most recent blank, a Premier League icon explains why Everton struggles in front of goal.

Former Premier League striker Ian Wright has criticized Everton’s lack of composure and decision-making in front of goal, following their 2-0 loss against Manchester United.

Despite creating several chances, Everton failed to capitalize, hitting the target

only six times out of 23 attempts and failing to score for the fifth time in their last nine league games.

Wright acknowledged Everton’s solid game plan but highlighted their struggles in converting opportunities into goals. He noted that while Manchester United were clinical with their

penalties, Everton’s inability to find clarity in attacking scenarios has been a recurring issue.

Manager Sean Dyche’s side displayed intensity that troubled Manchester United,

but Everton’s failure to capitalize on their chances cost them dearly. Wright emphasized the importance of

composure and decision-making in crucial moments, pointing out Everton’s frustration in front of goal.

With their next Premier League fixture against Liverpool postponed, Everton have

three weeks to regroup before facing Bournemouth on March 30.

They’ll be looking to utilize this break to improve their attacking prowess and

confidence in front of goal, aiming to end their 11-game winless streak in the league.
