Following the conclusion of Josh Wander’s talks with the Premier League, “big changes” are expected at Everton.

Alan Myers anticipates significant changes at Everton following the transition in ownership, regardless of whether it’s to 777 Partners or another entity.

The Sky Sports journalist provided an update on March 9, revealing that Josh Wander had

finally engaged in face-to-face discussions with the Premier

League, concluding on March 5. Although a decision is expected imminently,

Myers has grown skeptical due to repeated delays and refrains from speculation until official confirmation is received.

Regarding the Wander talks, Myers stated, “The meeting was concluded 4 days ago, decision is expected within days but Iโ€™ve heard that too many times now, I refuse to even think about it until something official happens tbh.” He emphasizes the necessity for substantial changes post-takeover, given Everton’s current predicament.

The uncertainty surrounding the takeover exacerbates Everton’s precarious situation, with

significant legal issues facing both 777 Partners and Wander. If the deal with 777 Partners doesn’t materialize, alternative options must swiftly step in, especially considering the club’s reliance

on regular loans to cover operating expenses, totaling approximately ยฃ190 million due

to prolonged deliberation by the Premier League.

Off-field pressure and uncertainty seem to be affecting the players, evident in their

recent winless streak, including a missed opportunity against Manchester United.

Despite facing seemingly beatable

opponents like Sean Dycheโ€™s side, Everton continues to struggle in the Premier League in 2024.

While the outcome of the first points deduction appeal has been addressed, significant unresolved issues linger, underscoring the urgency for timely updates and decisions.
