Detectives have launched a murder investigation after a man was found dead at a house.
The 40-year-old victim was found after police were called to reports of a possible assault at the property at around 9.10pm last night (February 1).
Two men – aged 43 and 46 – were arrested on suspicion of murder near the scene on Agecroft Road, Swinton, and remain in police custody on suspicion of murder.
Police said the cause of death is still being investigated and a large police cordon remains in place.
