Family members have been left ‘unable to sleep’ following a horror crash in Bedworth. The mother and daughter, and her niece were all left injured following the incident in School Lane.
They spent hours being treated at the University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire after a car allegedly crashed head on into theirs on Saturday night. The husband of the female driver, who did not want to be named, explained that the injuries his wife, daughter and niece suffered were more serious than first thought.
These were not minor injuries,” he said. “My daughter has got to have an operation on her arm because it’s snapped and needs pins and plates.
“My niece has huge bruising and so has my wife. They are struggling to sleep at night because of it.” He added that the family car has been ‘totally destroyed’.
