EMERALD ISLE, Carteret County — The Emerald Isle Police Department is investigating after two residents were found dead in their home on Monday, Sept. 16.
Emerald Isle Chief of Police Michael Panzarella tells us that emergency officials received a call to Craig Drive at 3:05 p.m. in reference to cardiac arrest.
Officials tell us that upon arrival, two residents, a 43-year-old male and a 45-year-old female, were found deceased.
The case remains under investigation and authorities say this is an isolated incident and there are no further safety concerns for the public.
