The Cure To Release Live Album ‘Songs Of A Live World’
The Cure have announced a new live album, Songs Of A Live World Troxy London MMXXlV.
Songs Of A Live World Troxy London MMXXlV was recorded at the band’s show at the Troxy in East London on November 1.
The show itself was livestreamed to YouTube, with the band performing their new album Songs Of A Lost World‘s eight songs in full on the day of its release.
The live album is set to drop on Friday, December 13. Pre-orders for the record have been made available now, with all profits to be donated to U.K. charity War Child
It will be released across several different formats, including standalone single CD, LP and cassette. It’ll also be packaged as a double set with the studio album, wrapped in a variation of the original album artwork. The vinyl versions of both albums will ship in February 2025.
Songs of a Lost World, The Cure’s fourteenth studio album, was released on November 1, 2024, via Fiction, Lost Music, Universal, Polydor, and Capitol Records. It is the band’s first release of new material in 16 years since the release of 4:13 Dream in 2008.
