5 star WR Darius Lassiter Decommits from previous flipped his commitment to Michigan with decision….

As of March 17, 2025, there is no recent news indicating that wide receiver Darius Lassiter has decommitted from any program or flipped his commitment to the University of Michigan. Lassiter, who began his collegiate career at Butler Community College, transferred to Eastern Michigan University (EMU) in 2022. During his tenure at EMU, he recorded 40 receptions for 471 yards and four touchdowns, notably leading the Eagles to a victory in the Potato Bowl with six receptions for 108 yards and two touchdowns. In May 2023, Lassiter transferred to Brigham Young University (BYU), where he became an integral part of the Cougars’ offense. In his first season with BYU, he amassed 365 receiving yards on 29 receptions, including four touchdowns. Despite an injury against Texas that sidelined him for two games, Lassiter returned to contribute significantly to the team’s performance. In February 2024, Lassiter announced he would return to BYU for his final season of eligibility, having secured a waiver from the NCAA. This decision bolstered BYU’s wide receiver corps, adding experience and depth to the lineup. As of now, there are no reports or official announcements regarding any changes to Lassiter’s commitment status or a potential move to the University of Michigan. It appears that he remains committed to BYU for the upcoming season.
