Penn State’s wrestling program continues to assert its dominance in collegiate wrestling, a feat that has garnered admiration from peers and competitors alike. Minnesota’s Gable Steveson, a two-time Dan Hodge Trophy recipient and Olympic gold medalist, recently expressed his astonishment at the Nittany Lions’ sustained excellence. “What Cael [Sanderson] has done for the program is mind-boggling,” Steveson remarked during the NCAA Wrestling Championships in Philadelphia.
