“Rangers Set to Confirm Mohamed Diomande Signing Amid Transfer Developments and Injury Concerns”

Rangers are poised to confirm the signing of Mohamed Diomande in the upcoming days, following a delay due to Storm Isha. The Ivorian midfielder is expected to arrive in Glasgow within the next 48 hours to finalize his transfer to Rangers from Danish Superliga side Nordsjælland.

The reported fee for the 22-year-old central midfielder, in the final year of his current contract, is £4.5 million.

Left-back has been a focal point for manager Philippe Clement this month.

Reports on Ridvan Yilmaz’s future were conflicting, initially suggesting a potential move to Hellas Verona or Galatasaray.

However, recent indications imply he may still have a future at Rangers.

With Borna Barisic’s contract expiring in the summer and no progress in extension talks, Clement may explore strengthening options.

Gijs Smal, previously mentioned and seemingly fading from

discussions, is now reportedly the subject of an agreement between

Rangers and FC Twente, according to Turkish journalist Orcan Ak.

A setback for Clement is the recent long-term injury to Abdallah Sima, who is on loan with potential plans for a permanent deal.

Although both the club and player expressed interest in a

permanent move in the summer, Clement confirmed an extensive lay-off, potentially influencing further decisions.

The injury situation could prompt Rangers to intensify their pursuit

of Million Manhoef, the Vitesse Arnhem winger.

However, Football Scotland reports that no official approach has been made for the winger.

Additionally, Rangers plan to loan Alex Lowry back out after his premature return from Hearts.

Clement clarified that it was Hearts who made the decision,

and the club is now looking to secure a loan destination for the

20-year-old attacking midfielder to gain more playing time.
