Referees Are Getting Crushed For Blown Call In Ohio State vs. Tennessee
Midway through the third quarter of today’s College Football Playoff game between Ohio State and Tennessee at Ohio Stadium, the Buckeyes led the Volunteers 21-0 and were driving for a fourth touchdown drive. Then disaster struck.
On the 12th play of their fourth drive, Ohio State had the ball at Tennessee’s 20-yard line. Buckeyes quarterback Will Howard tried to drive the dagger in with a pass to the endzone but wide receiver Jeremiah Smith got wrapped up by a Vols defender and the ball was intercepted by Tennessee defensive back Will Brooks.
