SEC Bias? Ryan Day’s Ohio State Ignored Again as Florida Gators Get Top Spot from Adam Breneman
Does Adam Breneman have an SEC bias? Or a bias against Ohio State in particular? After all, this isn’t the first time the Big Ten program has felt left out by the ESPN analyst. Earlier in October, he chose Indiana over Ryan Day‘s Buckeyes as the favorite to enter the College Football Playoffs. He named the Hoosiers the “biggest mover” of the week after their 56-7 win over Nebraska on October 19. Now, another “biggest mover” is here but it’s Billy Napier who got the credit.
Adam Breneman had predicted before, “This is an Indiana team that is legit, and their offense is the one that’s in the country. It’s looking pretty real that Indiana could travel to Columbus, Ohio, at 10-0 to go play Ohio State College; that will be a legendary matchup.” This “legendary matchup” will happen on Saturday on November 23. 9-1 Ohio State will continue their push for a spot in the Big Ten Championship game against No. 1 Oregon in their upcoming clash against undefeated Indiana (10-0). But perhaps, for this week, we’ll give the deserving credit to Billy Napier and Florida.
