One aspect of Harry Kane’s game that Leroy Sané always knew he’d get along with at Bayern Munich is his natural ability to drop deeper.
Leroy Sané and Harry Kane Bayern Munich have rapidly developed into
the most offensive duo in the league, the Bundesliga, and all of European football.
Sané has had something of a comeback when it comes to his output from the previous season;
this is especially true when comparing it to the 2021/22 season.
In the first half of a match against FC Köln at the Allianz Arena, the winger was
once subjected to taunts and jeers from the home crowd during Julian
Nagelsmann’s debut season as Bayern’s manager. Since then, he’s gone a long way.
The bulk of Bayern’s goals in all competitions have come from the
prolific duo of Kane and Sané. The latter has scored nine goals and provided
nine assists in all competitions thus far this season, while Kane has scored 25
goals and provided eight assists in all competitions. At this rate, Kane could
even surpass Robert Lewandowski’s record for the most points scored in a single season in the
Bundesliga, which would be an incredible accomplishment for him
to accomplish in just his first year at Bayern.
During an interview conducted with Bayern’s official website, which
was recorded by @iMiaSanMia, Sané discussed his current attacking
partnership with the England captain and expressed his confidence that
it would succeed. Sané was familiar with Kane’s abilities and the quality he
brought to the field because he had played against him in the Premier
League during his time with Manchester City and on a few other occasions.
