Leeds United to insist on Aston Villa paying a ‘significant’ fee for Crysencio Summerville in January transfer negotiations.

Leeds United is reportedly set to demand an exorbitant fee from Aston Villa if they wish to sign Crysencio Summerville in the upcoming January transfer window, as stated by Ty Bracey.

The 22-year-old Dutch winger has attracted interest from various clubs, including Villa, according to a tweet by Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano on December 25.

Despite Villa’s apparent interest, Leeds is adamant about not selling Summerville during this transfer window.

The player has showcased impressive performances, scoring 12 goals and providing

six assists in 23 Championship appearances this season. Bracey acknowledges

Summerville as a potential “great addition” to Villa’s squad but emphasizes that

Leeds is determined to retain him as they pursue promotion to the Premier League.

In an exclusive statement to Villa News, Bracey commented, “He’s doing very well in the Championship.

He’ll obviously be wanting to get Leeds back into the Premier League, so he may want to continue with that for the rest of the season.” Bracey notes Leeds’ reluctance to part with the player, stating,

“I think Leeds have issued a big fat not-for-sale sign on him, which is understandable.”

While acknowledging the potential benefit for Villa in acquiring Summerville, Bracey anticipates Leeds playing hardball in negotiations. He adds, “I think they’ll probably hold on to him unless an astronomical fee comes in.”
