Everton injury news: A doctor updates Dele Alli following remarks made by Sean Dyche
According to Dr. Rajpal Brar, there are doubts surrounding Dele Alli’s return to action for Everton this season, based on recent comments made by Sean Dyche.
Brar, an expert in Physical Therapy and Sports Science, suggests that
Everton is deliberately proceeding cautiously with Alli, and there likely exists a
behind-the-scenes plan not disclosed to the public.
Dyche had mentioned in mid-February that the club is deliberately managing Alli’s
return, indicating that he’s still far from being match-fit.
In an exclusive conversation with Goodison News, Brar stated, “It sounds like they’re taking
it intentionally slow and methodical to give Dele all the time he needs.
Hard to say what will need to happen for him to play this season and what might
happen if he doesn’t come back because that’s a possibility too.
Clearly, there’s a plan in place between player and club that we aren’t privy to, other than
it being intentionally slow.”
There’s a growing concern that Alli’s ongoing injury rehabilitation, coupled with his off-field
issues, may result in him never wearing the Everton shirt again.
The club has maintained confidentiality on certain matters, which is understandable given
their sensitive nature.
If Alli does depart in the summer, it’s likely to be a permanent move, raising the possibility
that Everton fans might have already seen the last of him.
