A Sky analyst responds, “I spoke with O’Hare,” as Celtic, Rangers, and Fulham eye the Coventry City standout.
Don Goodman has offered his assessment on Callum O’Hare, who is currently in the final months of his contract with Coventry City and attracting interest from several clubs, including Everton, Fulham, Southampton, Celtic, and Rangers.
O’Hare, 25, has been a crucial part of Mark Robins’ team after overcoming a lengthy injury spell.
Goodman commended Robins’ management of O’Hare’s return, noting the player’s improved physical condition and game management by the coach.
Goodman believes that O’Hare’s impending free agent status makes him
an appealing prospect for Premier League clubs, especially given his impressive performances this season, including six goals
and three assists in 14 starts. Despite Coventry’s push for promotion to the Premier League this season,
O’Hare’s potential departure would be a significant loss for the team, as his talent could have made a difference in their promotion battle last season and bolstered their current standing.
Losing O’Hare on a free transfer in the summer would be a substantial blow to
Coventry, considering his market value, which Goodman estimates to be around £15 to 20 million.
