A driver who killed a motorcyclist in a crash has avoided jail after he admitted causing his death by careless driving.
David Bartley, 51, died after he was struck by a car driven by Peter Tancos, 39, on Hellaby Lane in Rotherham on 1 February 2023.
Tancos appeared at Sheffield Crown Court for sentencing earlier and was given a 10-month prison term, suspended for two years.
Judge Sarah Wright also banned him from driving for three years and ordered him to complete 300 hours of unpaid work.
