Air ambulance crash on way to horror accident in Newbury

A MAN has been airlifted to hospital following a collision in Newbury this afternoon (Wed Nov 23).

 

Thames Valley police spokesman, Chris Kearney, confirmed police were called at 3.20pm, following a collision on the A343 Andover Road between Bartlemy Road and Tydehams after a 48-year-old man was involved in a collision with a Fiat Punto, before being airlifted to hospital, with serious injuries.

 

The Andover Road remains closed between the Old Bell pub and Bartholomew Str­eet.
