Honor was seen by many in Cowboys Nation as potentially breaking
“The Jimmy Curse” – a lighthearted term linked to
the team’s 29-year Super Bowl drought under owner Jerry Jones.
Despite three consecutive 12-5 seasons and early playoff exits,
discussions about a “curse” have resurfaced.
DeSean Jackson, the former Eagles Pro Bowl receiver,
expressed a belief in a curse during an appearance on
Up & Adams, citing recent history, including Tony
Romo’s playoff struggles.
While acknowledging that the Cowboys are not the ’90s Cowboys anymore, Jackson
suggests the team needs a significant change, going beyond just quarterback Dak Prescott.
