Rangers midfielder John Lundstram’s recovery from his ankle injury will be
closely monitored by the medical team, as stated by Dr. Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert suggests that Lundstram might already be at full fitness, having returned to action before the international break. Despite concerns about his fitness leading up to the December 30 Celtic clash, he ultimately started the game.
Dr. Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and sports scientist, emphasized that
Lundstram requires several games to attain 100% match fitness.
During the winter break, his fitness will be assessed, and he may be advised
to take it easier than some players until he reaches pre-injury fitness levels.
Dr.ย Brar reassures that the situation is not a major concern, and Lundstram could potentially be at 100% fitness already.
The 29-year-old participated in both league games against Celtic and Kilmarnock before the winter break, establishing himself as a first-team regular this season with 18 SPFL appearances.
Despite not scoring or providing an assist, Lundstram aims to contribute in the second half of the campaign.
