“Debate Ignited over Cameron Pring’s Potential Rangers Transfer as Former England Star Assigns Value to Bristol City Talent”

Former England star Carlton Palmer values Cameron Pring, linked with Rangers,

at over £2 million and emphasizes that his departure would significantly impact Bristol City.

Palmer praised the 25-year-old’s skills after reports

of Rangers’ interest in him emerged over the weekend.

Pring, with two years left on his contract with the Robins,

has risen through the ranks at Bristol City and holds a high regard at Ashton Gate.

The left-back position at Rangers has been subject to speculation in

the current transfer window, particularly with rumors of Ridvan Yilmaz potentially leaving for Galatasaray.

Borna Barisic’s contract is also set to expire at the end of the season, with Dinamo Zagreb and Leeds United reportedly interested.

Although Josh Doig was previously considered by Rangers, he now appears to be moving towards a deal with Sassuolo after a near move to Marseille.

Regarding the potential interest in Cameron Pring, Palmer told Football League World, “Glasgow Rangers are reported to want Bristol City’s left-back, Cameron Pring, as a replacement for Ridvan Yilmaz.

The 25-year-old has two years remaining on his contract, so Bristol City are in the driving seat.”

Palmer believes Pring’s departure would be a substantial setback for Bristol City, with the possibility of a fee exceeding £2 million, offering the club an opportunity to reinvest in the team.

Despite acknowledging the disappointment for Bristol City,

Palmer recognizes the nature of football and anticipates that manager Liam Manning will be seeking a capable replacement.
