“Barry Hepburn Secures Move to Austrian Side DSV Leoben on Loan, While John Hartson Criticizes Unfair Pressure on Neil Lennon’s Son Gallagher Amid Debut Speculation”

Barry Hepburn has secured his next move, joining Austrian side DSV Leoben after

a loan spell at Queen’s Park in the first half of the season.

Despite the unsuccessful stint at Queen’s Park, the Scotland under-19 international, who is currently on loan from Bayern Munich, made 21 appearances and scored three goals for the Scottish Championship side.

Hepburn, a winger, still has 18 months left on his deal with Bayern Munich, and the club has opted to send him on loan to DSV Leoben in the second division of Austrian football.

Leoben manager Rene Poms expressed excitement about the signing, emphasizing Hepburn’s attacking talent.

In another development, John Hartson criticized what he deemed a ‘stupid’ claim regarding Neil Lennon’s son, Gallagher, who is set for a potential debut with Dumbarton against Rangers.

Gallagher Lennon, on loan from St Mirren until the end of the season, faced speculation about playing against Rangers in his first game. Sky Sports reporter Mark Benstead made a tongue-in-cheek remark on social media, describing the situation as “WWE-level stuff.”

However, Hartson responded, stating that such views were unfair pressure on the young defender, emphasizing the need for Gallagher Lennon to carve out his own path in the game. Benstead clarified that his comment was a joke and acknowledged Gallagher’s efforts in making his own mark in the game so far.
