“Ridvan Yilmaz Seeks Rangers Exit Amid Euro 2024 Aspirations; Conway on Radar, Windass Eyed by MLS’s Real Salt Lake”

Ridvan Yilmaz is reportedly pushing for a departure from Rangers following discussions with the Turkey manager regarding their Euro 2024 squad.

Speculations from Turkish media suggest that a move back to Turkey,

particularly with Galatasaray, could enhance his chances of participating in the Euros.

Although Yilmaz has recently secured a starting position in the Rangers lineup, talks of a move persist, with Galatasaray expressing interest.

Recent reports indicate Rangers’ interest in left-back Josh Doig,

although discussions on this front depend on potential departures, including either Yilmaz or Barisic.

Transfer insider Osman Senher reveals that Yilmaz met with Turkey boss Vincenzo

Montella in Scotland, resulting in a personal plea from Yilmaz to leave Ibrox.

The player aims for regular playtime to secure a spot in the Euro 2024 squad.

In a separate development, striker Tommy Conway is said

to be on Rangers’ radar after impressing with West Ham in the FA Cup.

Conway, who represents Scotland at the U21 level, is under contract with Bristol City until 2025.

Bristol City’s manager, Liam Manning, expresses a strong desire to retain Conway, emphasizing the player’s alignment with the team’s culture.

Meanwhile, American journalist Tom Bogert reports that former Ibrox forward Josh

Windass is a target for a move to MLS with Real Salt Lake.

Currently at Sheffield Wednesday, Windass has been linked with

various moves, including one to Argentina. Real Salt Lake is reportedly optimistic about securing Windass at a discounted fee due to his contract situation, with the MLS season set to commence on February 22.

Windass has contributed three goals this season, the latest in a notable win over Hull on New Year’s Day.
