Mohamed Diamonde, a midfielder from Nordsjaelland,
is likely to successfully undergo a medical examination at Rangers,
despite having suffered a long-term injury in 2020, according to Dr. Rajpal Brar.
Dr. Brar explained that Diamonde had experienced a bone edema, characterized by the swelling of the bone. Although this condition can be problematic if not managed properly, the 22-year-old seems to have overcome the issue.
In an exclusive discussion with Ibrox News, Dr. Brar, who holds a doctorate in physical therapy and is a sports scientist, stated:
“He missed over 100 days back in 2020 with a bone edema.
This most often refers to a bone bruise and can be quite troublesome when they don’t resolve well.
That being said, he seems to have gotten over the issue, so unless there’s something very unexpected, he would most likely pass a medical.”
As reported by The Scottish Sun on January 23, Rangers are set
to pay around £4.5 million to secure the services of the Ivorian midfielder.
Diamonde, who had been dealing with malaria, is now recovered, and despite delays caused by adverse weather conditions in the United Kingdom, he is expected to officially join Ibrox later this week.
