Tim Weah Rejects Loan Offer from Everton! Juventus Wingback Resolute in Battling for Role with Bianconeri

Everton‘s attempt to secure a January loan deal for USMNT and Juventus talent Tim Weah has been rebuffed by the player himself, as reported by The Guardian.

Although the Premier League side proposed the move to Juventus, Weah opted against it, marking the initial signal of a potential departure from Turin this January.

Weah has faced challenges in maintaining a consistent starting role with the Bianconeri this season, grappling with injuries.

Consequently, Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has often utilized Weah as a key substitute and deployed him as a wingback.

Known for his dynamic attacking prowess as a winger for the USMNT, Weah’s skill set could align with Everton’s system, potentially as an attacking winger under Sean Dyche.

However, Weah has turned down the offer, expressing his determination to compete for his position in Italy.

Before joining Juventus, Weah had stints at Lille and PSG, where he briefly played alongside stars like Kylian Mbappe and Neymar in the French capital.

The upcoming Serie A fixture pits Juventus against Inter Milan in a highly anticipated clash between the top two teams in the league.

Despite Inter having two games in hand, Juventus holds a slim two-point lead. A victory in this fixture could extend Weah and Juventus’ lead to five points over the second-placed team in the league.
