Goodison News is excited to introduce Bryan King as a new columnist, a former goalkeeper and Everton scout with extensive experience in first-team scouting roles at Everton, Tottenham, and Aston Villa.
Bryan King expresses his belief that Everton manager Sean Dyche might not be
concerned if the club decides to terminate the loan deal for Arnaut Danjuma.
The Liverpool Echo reported Everton’s desire to retain the attacker amid interest from Lyon,
with Danjuma currently on a season-long loan from Villarreal, where he has scored two goals
in 20 appearances.
In an interview with Goodison News, King states, “I haven’t seen him used much.
They’ve had injuries in the first part of the season, and he hasn’t been required.
It wouldn’t be the worst idea [to terminate his loan].
I can’t see Dyche caring if the deal is terminated.”
Considering potential challenges like injuries and suspensions in the upcoming months,
Dyche may find it practical to maintain a sizable squad.
However, Danjuma’s performance at Goodison Park has been less impressive compared to
his time at Villarreal, where he registered 22 goals in 51 appearances.
While the 27-year-old could still make
an impact at Everton this season, his future with the club beyond the current transfer
window remains uncertain.
