Adam Idah demonstrated three crucial characteristics reminiscent of Celtic’s style against Van Dijk, with only one element standing between him and potential stardom at Parkhead.

Adam Idah possesses all the qualities to become a consistent threat in front of goal; he just needs to believe in himself as a potential move to Celtic looms, according to Peter Grant.

The Norwich striker is reportedly on the verge of securing a loan deal to Parkhead until the end of the season, as initially reported by Record Sport.

While fans eagerly anticipate new signings, so far, Nicolas Kuhn has been the sole addition, leaving some skeptics uncertain about Idah’s ability to fill the void left by Kyogo, especially with Oh at the Asian Cup.

However, Idah’s Ireland and Norwich teammate, Shane Duffy, is a strong supporter.

Grant, a former Celtic defender, observed Idah’s performance against Virgil van Dijk during

Ireland’s match against the Netherlands earlier in the season.

He believes that confidence is the key to unlocking Idah’s potential. In a statement to BBC, Grant expressed, “Adam just needs to believe in himself.

He’s got power, strength, pace; he just needs that belief. I can see it every day; he’s working really hard, and the lads say there’s a big difference in him this season.”

Grant acknowledged the challenge of filling in for the injured Sarge (Sargent) but emphasized Idah’s willingness to learn and improve.

Despite recognizing the pressure, Grant encourages Idah to stay focused, believing that with persistence, he will excel.
