London City Lionesses secure the acquisition of Everton defender Megan Campbell on a no-cost transfer.

Campbell, who initially signed a short-term deal with Everton in September, has mutually terminated the arrangement, paving the way for her transfer to London City Lionesses.

The Republic of Ireland international brings over seven years of experience in the English professional game, having had successful spells at Manchester City and Liverpool, where she secured a Barclays Women’s

Championship title in her first season with The Reds.

After two years with Liverpool, she joined Everton.

Known for her distinctive long throws, Campbell offers London City Lionesses a unique

option for the latter part of the season.

Expressing her excitement about the move, Campbell emphasized her physical defensive

style, ball possession skills, and her preference for being part of a winning team.

She sees the transfer to London City as a new challenge with fresh surroundings and teammates.

Campbell becomes the fourth signing for London City Lionesses during the January transfer window.
