Detroit Lions’ Defensive Coach Aaron Glenn Set to Return for the 2024 Season
The Detroit Lions faced the possibility of losing both their offensive and defensive coordinators after the season, with both being considered for head coaching positions across the league.
However, fans now have confirmation that both coaches will be returning.
Earlier in the week, offensive coordinator Ben Johnson announced his decision to stay with the team.
Subsequently, Sports Illustrated reported on Thursday that Aaron Glenn,
the defensive coordinator, will also be returning.
Heading into the next season, these coaches are tasked with meeting elevated fan
expectations, particularly with the goal of reaching the Super Bowl after falling just short in the previous season.
In related news, Lions’ general manager Brad Holmes was recognized by his “peers” as
the NFL Executive of the Year, while Dan Campbell received the NFL Coach of the Year honor, as
reported by The Sporting News on Thursday.
