Sean McAllister, an Everton loanee, discusses Duncan Ferguson, the Caley Thistle manager,’s quest for inventiveness.

Everton midfielder Sean McAllister is excited about the opportunity to work under Caley Thistle’s legendary figure Duncan Ferguson for the next four months.

The 21-year-old loanee aims to fulfill Inverness manager’s call for creativity and goals.

Despite a solid performance, Inverness suffered a 1-0 home Championship defeat against Queen’s Park over the weekend, highlighting their need for a goal.

This loss leaves them six points ahead of bottom-placed Arbroath and eight points behind fourth-placed Morton. They are now gearing up for Saturday’s Scottish Cup last-16 tie against Premiership side Hibs.

McAllister, who made his debut coming off the bench against Queen’s Park, is eager to impress

in his first taste of senior competitive football.

He expresses admiration for Ferguson, referring to him as an Everton legend, and is looking forward to working under him, aiming to demonstrate hard work, creativity, and goal-scoring prowess on the field.

Discussing his contribution to Inverness, McAllister promises to bring energy, create opportunities,

and find the back of the net.

Despite Inverness dominating possession in the game against Queen’s Park, they struggled in the

final third, lacking the finishing touch.

Looking ahead, Inverness faces Dunfermline Athletic in a rearranged league fixture, with both teams trailing just below Inverness in the standings.

Ferguson remains optimistic despite recent results, acknowledging the time required for new

players to settle in.

Despite their struggles at home this season, Inverness aims to bounce back against Hibs,

who are coming off a disappointing 3-0 defeat against St Mirren.
