Elijah Campbell, who has made an immediate impact while on loan, is being seen as a potential future star at Goodison Park.

Having recently moved on loan from Everton, Campbell’s early performances suggest he could be a standout player for the club in the future.

On February 1st, Everton announced Campbell’s loan move to Fleetwood Town until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old defender quickly made his presence felt by starting in Fleetwood’s 3-0 victory

against Port Vale on February 3rd.

Campbell, who joined Everton at 13, is regarded as a highly-rated prospect due to his versatility to play as a centre-back or left-back.

Last season, he featured prominently for Everton’s U-21 team, making 23 appearances

in Premier League 2 and participating in the EFL Trophy matches.

His performances caught the eye of manager Sean Dyche, leading to regular first-team training sessions this season.

While he’s yet to make his senior debut, Campbell was named on the bench for Everton’s Premier League match against Burnley on December 16th.

Joining Fleetwood Town allows Campbell to work with former Premier League midfielder

Charlie Adam and help the struggling League Two side.

Since his debut against Port Vale, Fleetwood has shown improvement, securing a clean

sheet and a 2-0 victory over Bristol Rovers on February 6th.

Campbell’s contributions have been notable, with a 71% pass accuracy and strong

defensive stats, including winning 60% of aerial duels, averaging seven clearances, one interception, and one recovery per game.

These performances indicate Campbell’s potential to break into Everton’s first team in the future.
