Sean Dyche confirms new Everton injury blow after Man City defeat
Arnaut Danjuma might remain sidelined for the rest of the month due to an ankle injury he sustained during a match against Fulham.
The forward had to be substituted off during the final moments of last month’s goalless draw at
Craven Cottage and has yet to return to play.
Everton‘s manager, Sean Dyche, anticipates that Danjuma will likely be unavailable for the up
coming game against Crystal Palace next week.
Additionally, his participation in the following week’s match against Brighton & Hove Albion is
uncertain, although Dyche mentioned that Danjuma is progressing in his recovery.
On a more positive note for Everton, Abdoulaye Doucoure is nearing a return to action, and
Amadou Onana made his comeback during the recent match against Manchester City.
Dyche expressed his doubts about Danjuma’s availability in the next two weeks following
Everton’s defeat against Manchester City, but he acknowledged the contributions of Onana and Seamus Coleman,
who also returned from injury during the match.
Dyche indicated that Doucoure is making strides in recovering from a hamstring issue and
expressed hope for better news on his condition in the upcoming week.
Furthermore, Dyche mentioned that Everton is currently without Andre Gomes, while
Ben Godfrey had to be substituted off during the second half of the match against Manchester City due to injury.
