Club Boss Admits: “I Just Liked Everything” Star On Loan From Everton

Charlie Adam, the manager of Fleetwood Town, disclosed that he was incredibly impressed with Elijah Campbell’s contributions when he watched the Everton player play.

Originating from the Everton academy, the 19-year-old center-back went on loan to League One team Fleetwood during the winter transfer window.

To advance his career, Campbell has already made three appearances for Fleetwood in League One.

Before deciding to sign Campbell, Adam disclosed that he had seen Everton’s Under-21 squad play Manchester City in Premier League 2 Division 1. He said that he learned about Campbell through his recruitment staff.

The Fleetwood manager acknowledged his admiration for Campbell’s enthusiasm and mentioned how the Everton loanee displayed his athleticism in the match against Port Vale.

Adam said to the media representing Fleetwood, “I knew about him through recruitment, but again,

I went to watch him on Monday night against Manchester City and I just liked everything I had seen about him and his energy.”

“He has demonstrated [against Vale] that he is an athletic young man.”

Campbell intends to make as many appearances for Fleetwood this season in an attempt to catch Sean Dych’s eye before he returns to Goodison Park for the summer.
