Everton Wants To Sign This On-Loan Winger Permanently: Is This A Wise Decision For All Parties?

In a recent episode of The Square Ball, journalist Phil Hay suggested that Everton are interested in securing the services of on-loan winger Jack Harrison on a permanent basis in the upcoming summer transfer window.

However, Hay noted that Everton’s interest might depend on their Premier League status, implying

that if they face relegation, they might not pursue the deal.

He also mentioned the possibility of other mid-table Premier League clubs being interested in

Harrison’s services, suggesting that Everton could face competition for his signature.

Harrison has been enjoying a productive loan spell at Everton, particularly impressing on the right side of Sean Dyche’s attacking setup.

The 27-year-old has contributed four goals and three assists in 25

appearances for Everton across all competitions this season.

He has showcased his abilities in areas such as shooting, key passes, and dribbling,

although there is room for improvement in terms of his passing accuracy, which currently stands at 69.9%.

While Harrison demonstrates proficiency in dribbling and creating chances for his teammates,

there is a need for improvement in his link-up play in the final third.

Primarily deployed as a right-winger, he is also capable of operating on the left flank if required.

Given his importance in Dyche’s plans, it makes sense for Everton to pursue a permanent deal for Harrison.

Such a move could benefit both the player and the club.

Overall, if Dyche can successfully secure Harrison’s permanent transfer from Leeds United, it

could prove to be a positive step for all parties involved.
