Sean Dyche, the manager of Everton, expressed his surprise at Joe Hart’s decision to retire from professional football.
Despite not closely following Scottish football, Dyche acknowledged Hart’s successful career and commended his professionalism and adaptability during their time together at Burnley.
Speaking before Everton’s 1-1 draw with Brighton, Dyche praised Hart as a “really good professional” and a “good guy.” He highlighted Hart’s ability to adapt to the demands placed on him
at Burnley and described his career as “amazing.”
While Dyche admitted he wasn’t up to date with Hart’s recent performances at Celtic,
he recognized the goalkeeper’s contributions and the positive experiences others might have had working with him.
Despite his surprise at Hart’s decision, Dyche expressed his support and well-wishes for whatever comes next in Hart’s career.
