Everton manager Sean Dyche has stated that he has not received information indicating the necessity to sell players during the current transfer window.

Several members of Dyche’s squad, including midfielders Abdoulaye Doucoure and Andre Onana, are being linked with potential moves.

Everton, currently facing financial challenges with a 10-point penalty imposed in November for breaching profit and sustainability rules, is also awaiting league approval for a proposed takeover by American investment firm 777 Partners.

Addressing concerns about player sales, Dyche mentioned that, as of

now, no such directive has been communicated to him.

The club aims to retain its key players and manage the existing squad while navigating challenging financial circumstances. Dyche acknowledged the difficulty of the current transfer

window, suggesting that any potential incomings are likely to be loan deals.

Regarding transfer talks involving defender Ben Godfrey, Dyche emphasized Godfrey’s professionalism and dedication despite limited playing time.

Dyche also provided updates on the injury status of several players, including doubts over Andre Gomes due to a calf issue and absences of Seamus Coleman, Ashley Young, Abdoulaye Doucoure, and Dele Alli.

Alli has undergone groin surgery, with recovery timescales yet to be determined.
